COTTAGE IN THE WOODS

Tucked into the landscape and inspired by the spirit of Frank Lloyd Wright, this woodland cabin was conceived as a warm, mid-century modern retreat. We collaborated closely with the creative family to bring those two sensibilities together, creating a home that feels both soulful and design-forward.
Original mid-century pieces anchor the interiors, thoughtfully sourced from specialty markets across the country — from Hudson, New York to European antiques — including blue velvet Milo Baughman chairs, vintage French nightstands, and a Swedish 1960s credenza. Rich woods, leather, handwoven textiles, and Mongolian lamb accents add depth and tactility, while gem-toned pillows, art, and books introduce playful moments of color.
Layered with craftsmanship and history, the cabin feels intimate, collected, and timeless — a quiet, modern refuge deeply connected to nature and made for slow living.
